FNB COMO HOT MEALS!

This post is to announce the beginning of Food Not Bombs Columbia, Missouri’s, FREE HOT MEALS! Some deets on this:

  1. We’re a group of happy volunteers who enjoy cooking & bringing free hot meals to area parks several times a month, for anyone who’s hungry.
  2. We come from all faiths and belief systems, and purposely don’t talk about religion so all can feel comfortable at our Neighborhood Table.
  3. We never ask for ID, or check any of your personal details, that’s none of our our business, we’re your neighbors.
  4. We find free food from area grocery stores and our #1 Nationwide award-winning Farmer’s Market, and turn it into delicious meals.
  5. We love to feed folks, because here, no one goes hungry if we can help it.
  6. We cook food FRESH in our own homes before our Meals, and by bulk in a church kitchen, once a month, so there’s nothing that’s sat on a shelf for years.
  7. We package it all up & bring it to parks to share.

That’s it!

We’ve already enjoyed several great meals in Douglas Park with awesome chocolate truffles, delicious filling stew, and a great time with our neighbors. Now we’re on to Flat Branch Park.

Come on down and bring your friends. We’d love to meet you!

Join us this coming Wednesday, October 23 at 5:30 PM in Flat Branch Park at 300 S. Providence Road (below the Columbia Mosque) for yummy hot vegan food, plus desserts you’ll want seconds of, good conversation, and hookups to resources you might need.

Pass the word, it’s going to be a party! 🥳
